As a child he discovered his talent for drawing, and it didn't take long for his passion for music, especially metal, to become apparent. The strong influence music has can clearly be seen in his work today. Through music, an idea starts to form in the artist's mind, which he then implements in his art. When looking at the overall picture of his work, one can not only see music reflected, but also many elements from science fiction, and a clear tendency towards the darker side of things. Apart from drawing, the Piesting born artist has also been spellbound by plastic art and sculptures. The two art forms on their own weren't enough for the qualified painter and floorer, which lead him to take things a step further thus creating the „fusion of painting and sculpture“, the name given to this art form by the artist from Piesting. Through this Gabriel was able to discover his ideal individual approach to art. For his artistic work, Gabriel uses almost all possible materials and techniques from milling, smoothing, sawing, planing and screwing to painting and spraying. Processed materials include metal, wood, plastic, gypsum, 2-component resin, airbrush paint, etc. Gabriel has already drawn attention to his work at various exhibitions in greater Vienna, lower Austria and Salzburg as well as in various special-interest magazines and online platforms. His work „Cyberwaste“ took first place at the Anno Awards 2008, in the visual art category. Gabriel cannot tell where his chosen path will lead him, but it's already clear that through his art form he has created and developed his own personal style.
